We recently welcomed a new Lending Manager to our team, Chris Buttle, who will be based in our Cardiff office. Chris is tasked with helping us grow our client base and smooth the lending process for property professionals and commercial finance brokers.
He is a well-known figure in the South Wales business community, after more than 35 years in a variety of roles with HSBC bank, across the region.
Here’s what Tony Gilbertson, our CEO, had to say: “Given the heightened activity in the region’s property development sector, Cardiff is important to our growth ambitions and we are strengthening our team.
“Chris is just the right individual to help us grow our business, especially with all his contacts amongst those who might have need of our short-term property finance services.
“As one of only a few principal lenders in Wales, Signature is performing well and there appears plenty of interest in our low rates, high LTVs, quick decision process and unrivalled service.
“By helping reduce the time it takes from us receiving an enquiry to our client being able to drawdown the loan, Chris is further enhancing our service and helping get our message out to more of the region’s property developers and commercial brokers.
“He’s very pro-active with a good understanding of bridging finance, our core offering. He will undoubtedly win new clients when he combines his positive attitude with our products and customer service to deliver a comprehensive solution few, if any, of our competitors can match.
Chris was just as happy with his move: “Signature Private Finance is quickly building a reputation for not just competitive rates, but an ability to provide access to funds quickly and easily, already supporting a number of high profile property development projects in Wales.
“Tony outlined Signature’s ambitions and it’s a good time to be joining the business, with its focus on Cardiff and the South Wales region as a whole, playing to my personal strengths.
“When you combine great products and personal service, all delivered by experienced professionals, I believe we have a winning formula in good shape to take advantage of the growing interest in the region’s property market.”
