Lending Support Assistant








Job Description

Signature Property Finance is a principal lender providing short term property finance to property developers, landlords, limited companies and investors. You will join a busy team and initially work alongside our Relationship Managers, supporting them to attend to our client’s requirements, focusing on providing high quality customer care to ensure the process for our customers is as easy as possible.

Specific role responsibilities are as follows:

  • Learning to understand, analyse and interpret key items such as credit searches, bank statements, financial accounts, property valuations and business appraisals to assist in the lending decisions.
  • Delivering high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in data input and all written communication produced.
  • Helping build successful working relationships with external contacts such as brokers, customers, surveyors and solicitors as well as internal teams such as administrators, credit risk and finance to ensure all lending requirements are satisfied prior to release of funds.
  • Effectively assisting in the large pipeline of cases through to completion, ensuring both company service standards and the lending policy is complied with throughout.
  • Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to throughout the process and in all contact with customers, brokers and third parties.
  • Dealing with all internal and external telephone & email enquiries efficiently and within company standards
  • Communicating decisions to relevant teams in a clear manner.
  • Holding a good understanding of all the company’s policies, procedures and compliance guidelines, installing the principles in your daily practice to protect the company from any associated risks.
  • Evaluating the accuracy and authenticity of each client’s details.
  • Creating detailed records on each case via our case management system.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date data knowledge of fraud prevention.
